Convict gets legally married in Namangan colony

A convict legally married while serving his sentence in a colony in the Namangan region. This was reported by the Department of Execution of Sentences under the Ministry of Internal Affairs.  

According to the report, the head of the Pop district of the Namangan region, D. Yoldasheva, was invited to penal colony No. 6 of the second regional zone to address the marriage request of the convict, R.R. The legal procedures for the marriage were completed accordingly.  

Additionally, a round table discussion was held with other convicts in the colony, explaining the procedures for issuing civil documents and the process of getting married while serving a sentence.  

It should be recalled that earlier it was reported that from May 1 of this year, individuals released from places of deprivation of liberty in Uzbekistan would receive a one-time allowance equal to six times the minimum wage through the "Inson" social service centers.
