Illegal electricity use uncovered in Namangan Region

A limited liability company in Namangan region has been exposed for the illegal use of electricity valued at 1.7 billion soums, as reported by “O‘zenergoinspeksiya.”

During an inspection in Chust district, it was discovered that the company “A.T.” had been using electrical equipment without proper documentation and unlawfully connecting to the power supply.

Preliminary calculations estimate that the unauthorized usage caused damages of 1.703 billion soums to the electricity provider.

“Currently, pre-investigation checks are being carried out by law enforcement authorities,” the statement noted.

Note: Earlier, a limited liability company in Guliston, Syrdarya region, was caught for illegally using electricity worth 2.1 billion soums.
