Ramadan Eid is celebrated in Uzbekistan on 21 April. This was reported by the Press Service of the Office of Muslims of Uzbekistan.

According to the information received by the Working Group of the Office of the Muslims of Uzbekistan to determine the month of Ramadan and Eid from the prestigious astronomy centers abroad and the Institute of Astronomy under the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the new moon phase (crescent) of the month of Shawwal in 1444 AH this year happened at 09:12 a.m., Tashkent time on Thursday, 20 April.

The Ulema Council of the Office of the Muslims of Uzbekistan decided that the Eid of Ramadan will fall on Friday, 21 April2023 in our country based on the teachings of Islam and this astronomical information.
