2 Uzbekistan citizens died in a fire in Moscow

Two migrants who died in a fire in a dormitory in the south of Moscow were Uzbekistan citizens.  This was reported by the Foreign Labor Migration Agency.

It is noted that between the nights of 28 - 29 July of the current year, 8 people died and 4 people were injured as a result of a fire that broke out in a dormitory located in corpus 7, building 2 on Alma-Atinskaya street.

According to preliminary information, 2 of the deceased (S.N. born in 2003, and A.A. born in 1986) are citizens of Uzbekistan.

A criminal case was initiated by the Investigative Committee of Brateyevo district in connection with this incident, and the investigation is currently underway.

It should be recalled that the fire started on the first floor of the 16-story building.  The fire spread over an area of 150 square meters.  The fire was extinguished.

According to part 3 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (providing services that do not meet safety requirements, resulting in the death of two or more people due to carelessness), a criminal case was initiated regarding the fact of the fire.
