Uzbekistan offers summer sanctuary to children of Moscow terrorist attack victims

13981The children of a Russian family impacted by the terrorist attack at "Crocus City Hall" in Moscow will spend their summer in Uzbekistan. Qudratilla Rafiqov, Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Uzbekistan, announced this during a meeting of the Council of the General Confederation of Trade Unions.
To support families affected by the terrorist attack, the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan has invited 100 children from these families to visit the sights of Tashkent and Samarkand. They will also enjoy a complimentary stay at some of the best health resorts in the country.
On June 23, a group of 100 children arrived at Tashkent International Airport.
These young visitors from Russia will spend 14 days at a children's camp in the Bostonliq district of the Tashkent region. During their stay, they will receive sports clothes and necessary technical equipment as gifts.
Activities planned for their stay include a water sports festival, comedy relays, screenings of foreign and domestic films and plays, and a video film competition.
All expenses are covered by the Unions.
Last summer, a group of 45 children from Ukraine was also brought to Uzbekistan for rest and rehabilitation.
