Temur Kapadze, the coach of the Olympic national team of Uzbekistan, shared his thoughts ahead of the match against Egypt in the second round of the group stage of the Olympic Games.

"We arrived in Nantes yesterday and are continuing our preparations. Ahead of us is a match against Egypt. The main thing is that everyone is healthy, although we have one loss. Our defender Ibrahimhalil had to leave the national team due to family reasons. Despite this, we continue training according to plan and will try to win tomorrow's match," said the coach.

The expert also expressed his opinion about the future opponent.

"Regarding Egypt, it is one of the strongest teams in Africa. We played against them last year in Tashkent. We are well aware of our opponent's strengths and capabilities. Accordingly, we will prepare according to our plan and use all our opportunities to win," Kapadze noted.

Kapadze also discussed the mistakes made by the team in the first game and mentioned that work is being done to correct them in future games.

"After the first match, we analyzed our performance and made the necessary conclusions. During the game, we played well in some situations and showed our weaknesses in others. However, as I said, we are working on the mistakes and now our focus is on tomorrow's game. Everyone else in the team is healthy, with no issues. After Ibrahimhalil's departure, we are trying to register one of our reserve players. We have sent a request to the organizing committee in this regard and are waiting for an answer," the expert added.

We remind you that it was earlier reported that a referee has been appointed for the Uzbekistan-Egypt match.
