Mirziyoyev expected to visit Azerbaijan

5142President Shavkat Mirziyoyev is expected to visit Azerbaijan on July 5-6 this year to participate in the Shusha Summit of the Organization of Turkic States, as reported by the "CBC" TV channel.
The date and program of the summit have been publicly announced. Presidents of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan, along with observers from member states of the organization and the Secretary-General of the Organization of Turkic States, are expected to participate in the meeting. The theme of the summit is "Building a Sustainable Future through Transport Connectivity and Climate Action."
According to the source, this summit will serve as a platform for high-level discussions on key issues and the organization's agenda. After the summit, the Karabakh Declaration and several other important documents will be signed. A meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States will be held before the summit, during which final agreements will be reached on the agenda items and documents to be signed by the leaders.
It is worth noting that it was earlier reported that Shavkat Mirziyoyev participated in the recent meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Astana, Kazakhstan. The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, is set to travel to Germany for Euro-2024 and will not be participating in the TDT summit.
