12575President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan has returned to Tashkent after completing his working visit to Moscow, where he participated in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) summit. The President's press service reported this.
It was noted that Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia, Anton Alikhanov, along with other officials, saw off the high-ranking guest at Vnukovo International Airport.
"Today, the President of Uzbekistan participated in the CIS Heads of State Council meeting and put forward several important initiatives aimed at enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation within the Commonwealth," the statement mentioned.
Previously, it was reported that President Mirziyoyev proposed holding regular expert and analyst meetings from CIS member countries and suggested that the next conference on the development of artificial intelligence be held in Samarkand.
