Mirziyoyev opened six new enterprises in Termiz

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the activities of the carpet manufacturing enterprise in the Yangiabad neighborhood of the Termiz district. This was reported by the Presidential Press Service.

It is noted that this enterprise can produce 2.2 million square meters of carpets per year. For this, modern equipment from Germany, Belgium, and Turkey was installed. 150 new jobs were created. 

About half of the products are planned to be exported. 80% of raw materials are localized. In the short time the enterprise was launched, carpets and carpet products worth 255 thousand dollars were exported to Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan. This year, it is planned to deliver products worth 4 million dollars to foreign customers. 

The company is currently using solar panels for exterior and interior lighting. 

The head of state got acquainted with the production process and inspected the exhibition of industrial products produced in the region. 

It was reported that the ceremony of launching 6 new production facilities was held here. The head of state pressed a symbolic button and launched new enterprises. 

It includes an enterprise specializing in the production of ready-made clothes from cotton fibers in the city of Termiz, an autoclave gas block production enterprise in the Zhargorgon district, a shopping complex in Angor, a small industrial zone of building materials in the Sariosiyo district, a warehouse with a freezer capacity of 3 thousand tons in the Termiz district, representatives of the modern greenhouse and Topalang hydroelectric power station gave information about the potential of the complexes through video communication. 

It is noted that these 6 enterprises will create 2,000 new jobs, and thanks to their activity, 370 billion sums will be added to the production of the region, and 20 million dollars will be added to its export.
