President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has arrived in Brussels on an official visit. The press service of the Uzbekistani President announced the development.
At the Belgian capital's international airport, the head of state was met by the European Union Special Representative for Central Asia, Eduards Stiprais, and other officials.

Today, October 24, the President of Uzbekistan is scheduled to hold talks with European Council President António Costa and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, as well as a meeting with King Philippe of the Belgians.
The head of state will participate in the signing ceremony of the Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the European Union.
A roundtable discussion with representatives of leading European companies and financial institutions is also planned as part of the visit.
It is worth noting that the signing of the Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement (EPCA) in Brussels on October 24 had been previously announced. This document is expected to mark a turning point in bilateral relations, elevating the political, economic, and civilizational ties between Uzbekistan and the European Union to a new level.
