Mirziyoyev made three proposals for the fight against hunger

Many countries of the Asian continent are the main importers of consumer products and feel the consequences of food security very acutely. President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev said this in his speech at the summit of the council on Cooperation and Trust Measures in Asia held in Astana today, 13 October.
"According to the estimates of the World Food and Agriculture Organization, more than half of the people of our planet who suffer from hunger live on the Asian continent.
"The paradox is that at the same time, our countries are the world's leading producers of food products," says the president.
He has new approaches in this regard:
• formation of stable systems of food production and optimal chain of its supply;
• harmonization of technical regulations for the growth of internal regional trade;
• Proposed the creation of a comprehensive food safety monitoring system in Asia
