Mirziyoyev arrives in Moscow

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Moscow on October 7, on a business visit, according to the presidential press service.
At Vnukovo Airport, the President was welcomed by Maxim Oreshkin, assistant to the President of the Russian Federation, along with other officials.
It has been reported that the main events of the CIS summit will occur on October 8. The agenda includes key discussions on further developing multilateral cooperation within the Commonwealth.
It is worth noting that Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov mentioned earlier that Russian President Vladimir Putin, who turns 72 today, will spend his birthday working. Peskov added that Putin will meet with the leaders of CIS countries later this evening.
