Mirziyoyev will go to Egypt

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay an official visit to Egypt from 20-21 February, at the invitation of the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdul Fattah al-Sisi. This was reported by the Presidential Press Service.

The agenda of the high-level negotiations included a wide range of issues for further strengthening Uzbekistan-Egypt relations.

It is noted that during this visit, special attention will be paid to the prospects of cooperation in the political, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian, and educational spheres.  Opinions are exchanged on issues of international and regional importance.

At the end of the summit, a joint statement will be adopted between the countries and several bilateral documents will be signed.

As part of the visit, the head of Uzbekistan will hold a meeting with the heads of leading Egyptian companies and representatives of business circles.
