Mirziyoyev leaves for a foreign visit

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the invitation of the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdulfattah al-Sisi, left for this country on an official visit today, 20 February.  This was reported by the Presidential Press Service.

According to the program of the visit, high-level negotiations will be held at the Al-Ittihadiya palace in Cairo.

The parties will discuss urgent issues of further expansion of multilateral cooperation in priority areas.  In the end, it is planned to sign a number of bilateral documents.
The head of Uzbekistan will hold a meeting with representatives of leading Egyptian companies.

It is planned to get acquainted with the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, which has a rich collection of monuments and objects related to the history of the country from the most ancient past to the present day.
