Mirziyoyev to visit Turkmenistan for trilateral summit

At the invitation of the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a working visit to Turkmenistan on August 22, to take part in the trilateral summit in the "Azerbaijan–Turkmenistan–Uzbekistan" format, the presidential press service reported.
The summit, to be held in the "Avaza" national tourist zone, will address issues of strengthening multilateral cooperation, particularly in the fields of trade and economy, transport and communications, energy, and humanitarian exchange. Several joint documents are expected to be signed.
Within the framework of the event, the head of Uzbekistan will also hold a series of bilateral meetings.
It is worth noting that on August 5, a trilateral meeting between Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, and Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov was held in Avaza.
