Mirziyoyev will visit Kazakhstan today

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, will be in Astana on a working visit today, September 17, to participate in the second meeting of the leaders of Central Asian countries and Germany, at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. This was reported by the President's press service.

It is noted that the summit will address issues related to the further development and deepening of multilateral cooperation between the countries of the region and Germany.

Special attention will be given to expanding practical cooperation in trade and economics, investment, technology, transport and communication, and other priority areas. There are also plans to hold a joint meeting with the heads of leading German companies and banks.

The first summit in the "Central Asia - Germany" format was held on September 29 last year in Berlin.
