“It is not for nothing that we call it a green space, this is our future. God willing, we plan to build New Tashkent and move all the executive authorities to New Tashkent. Imagine, large cars will not enter, there will be no traffic jams, and people will only benefit from this,” said Mirziyoyev.
The head of state also recalled his speech at the UN Climate Change Conference (COP29) in Baku. The president emphasized that if we want to achieve economic stability, we must pay attention to ecology and a green economy.
“I didn’t call 2025 the “Year of Mother Nature Conservation and Green Economy” for nothing. We want to enter the global market in all areas, we want to join the WTO, and our goal is one - to find a market. If we don’t open the market to entrepreneurs, then those entrepreneurs will bring so much technology from Europe, Asia, America, and China. Where will his products go tomorrow? You know, we need to change our mindset. We need to update technologies to make it competitive and free from corruption and produce products that are worthy of the market. The goal is to earn income and benefit,” says the head of Uzbekistan.
Mirziyoyev also spoke about plans to increase the gross domestic product to $200 billion.
“I said in my three-day speeches that the goal is to reach $200 billion. When we started, it was $51 billion, now it’s $110 billion. It can be done! Therefore, if we act in accordance with this strategy for all our plans for our people, our future, and our beloved homeland, then the goal will be ours,” said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
We would like to remind you that earlier it was reported that President Mirziyoyev planted seedlings in a new park being built as part of the “Green Space” nationwide project. During the tree planting, the head of state spoke with representatives of the public and foreign diplomats, expressing gratitude to them for their contribution to this initiative.
