Mirziyoyev also honored five Tajikistani artists

Today, April 18, at the “Qasri Millat" palace in Dushanbe, as part of Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev's visit to Tajikistan, President Mirziyoyev bestowed the title of "People's Artist of Uzbekistan" upon five cultural and artistic figures from Tajikistan. This announcement came from Tajikistan's President Emomali Rahmon's information service.

As per Uzbekistan's President's decree, a selection of cultural and artistic figures from Tajikistan – Mirali Dostizoda, Ismoil Nazriyev, Furqat Saidov, Tolqin Tojiboyev, and Rahmatullo Hoshimov – received the title "People's Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan" for their contributions to fostering friendship between the two nations.

It's worth noting that previously, by decree of Tajikistan's President Emomali Rahmon, four artists from Uzbekistan were honored with the title "People's Hafiz of Tajikistan".
