Mirziyoyev traveled to Moscow to participate in the Victory Parade

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev left for Moscow on a business visit at the invitation of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.  The Presidential Press Secretary Sherzod Asadov provided information about this.

According to the program of the visit, Mirziyoyev will participate in the solemn events dedicated to the 78th anniversary of the Victory in the Second World War.

Leaders of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Armenia are also expected to participate in the events.

It should be noted that until this moment, the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadir Japarov arrived in Moscow to watch the parade with Putin on the Victory Day in Russia.  The Russian President also invited President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to celebrate the Victory Parade together.  In addition, it was said that the President of Kazakhstan Kasim-Jomart Tokayev and the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan will participate in the day's events.  

It was also reported that on the eve of 9th May, Putin congratulated all CIS leaders, except for the leaders of Moldova and Georgia.
