The Ministry of Energy announced an extension of the validity period for Uzbekistan's highest retail price for methane gas.
On March 30, 2024, the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan issued Decision No. 173, establishing the maximum retail price of natural gas at 3,350 soums per cubic meter for gas stations selling to vehicles, effective until June 1.
This extension means the previous deadline of April 1 for the highest retail price will now be extended for an additional two months, with slight adjustments (the previous price being 3,250 soums), according to the report.
