As previously reported, on April 23 of this year, Uzbek boxer Bektemir Meliqo’ziev took part in a rematch against Gabriel Rosado in Las Vegas and emerged victorious.
On 26th April, Melikoziev returned to Uzbekistan and received a warm welcome at Tashkent International Airport from his relatives, coach, and members of the public.
It is worth noting that the 27-year-old Meliqo’ziev has been working in professional boxing since 2019 and has had a total of 13 fights in the ring, losing only once to his opponent.
He is currently ranked 12th in the WBO ranking.
