Masharipov features as Al-Nasr advances in AFC Champions League

On March 10, Saudi Arabia’s “Al-Nasr” hosted Iran’s “Esteghlal” in the second leg of the AFC Champions League Round of 16 and achieved a commanding 3–0 victory.
In this match, Cristiano Ronaldo scored one goal, while Duran added a brace, propelling “Al-Nasr” to the next stage of the tournament. Uzbek footballer Jaloliddin Masharipov, representing the Iranian side, entered the game at the start of the second half.
For context, the first leg of the tie, held on March 3 at the “Azadi” Stadium, ended in a goalless draw. With this result, “Al-Nasr” advanced with an aggregate score of 3–0.
It’s worth noting that the match was officiated by a team of Uzbek referees led by Ilgiz Tantashev.
