According to "Sports Illustrated," Uzbekistan's delegation at the Paris Olympics is expected to clinch 12 medals from the competitions, based on 75 slots allocated.

The magazine forecasts that Uzbek boxers Hasanboy Dosmatov, Bahodir Jalolov, and Abdumalik Khaloqov will claim Olympic gold in their respective weight categories. Asadkhoja Moydinkhojayev is anticipated to earn a silver medal in the -71 kg category, while Lazizbek Mullajonov is poised to secure a bronze in the -92 kg category.

The publication highlights judo as a sport likely to contribute significantly to Uzbekistan's medal tally. Judokas Dilshodbek Baratov, Muzaffarbek Toraboyev, Alisher Yusupov, and Diyora Keldiyorova are expected to win bronze medals in their weight categories. However, according to QALAMPIR.UZ, Doston Roziyev will represent Uzbekistan in the -60 kg category at the Olympics instead of Dilshodbek Baratov. Davlat Bobonov is highly touted for a silver medal chance.

In taekwondo, Ulugbek Rashidov, the gold medalist at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, is predicted to win bronze, while Svetlana Osipova is expected to secure silver.
