The number of Uzbeks that returned from Russia in March is announced

In the first quarter of this year, 193,000 Uzbekistan citizens working abroad returned to the country. Azizbek Yunusov, deputy head of the Agency of Foreign Labor Migration, reported this.
According to Yunusov, 133 thousand labor migrants came back from Russia. In March alone, 50 thousand Uzbekistan citizens returned.
In comparison, 502,000 migrant workers returned to Uzbekistan in 2021, of whom 280,000 came from Russia.
More than 15,000 returnees were employed and 2,813 were trained in crafts and entrepreneurship.
In turn, more than 70,000 people set out for Russia to work in March.
