"Manchester City" will pay €50 million, including bonuses, for the transfer of Uzbek defender Abdukodir Khusanov from the French club "Lens". This was reported by football journalist Patrick Berger on his X page.

According to the report, the agreement will involve a 5+1 contract, meaning the 20-year-old defender will commit to "Manchester City" for five years, with an option to extend the deal for an additional year by mutual consent.

Khusanov has made 16 appearances for Lens this season, contributing one assist. His market value is currently estimated at €12 million by "Transfermarkt". The player is under contract with Lens until the summer of 2027.

Earlier reports confirmed that Khusanov had submitted the necessary documentation for a British visa, further solidifying the likelihood of his move to England.

This transfer marks a significant milestone for Khusanov as he joins one of the Premier League’s most prestigious clubs.
