The Prime Minister of Malaysia visits Uzbekistan

At the invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Prime Minister Anvar Ibrohim of Malaysia will undertake an official visit to Uzbekistan from May 17 to May 19, as reported by the President's press service.

High-level events and negotiations are scheduled in Tashkent on the first day of the visit.

The summit's agenda includes enhancing political dialogue and expanding cultural and humanitarian exchanges, along with promoting cooperation in trade, innovation, energy, petrochemicals, industry, electrical engineering, electronics, agriculture, and other economic sectors.

Additionally, discussions will cover current international issues.

The Malaysian Prime Minister will also visit Samarkand and Bukhara to explore Uzbekistan's cultural, historical, and spiritual heritage and participate in a joint business forum.

For context, Anvar Ibrohim has previously visited Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, where he engaged in talks with their leaders.
