Autumn holiday dates were announced for schools

The autumn break for the current academic year for students in preschool, general education, creative, and specialized schools under the Ministry of School Education will begin on November 4 and continue until November 10, as reported by the ministry's press service.

Classes for the second quarter are set to resume on November 11, 2024, giving students a one-week holiday next week.

According to regulations approved by Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 140 (2017), the vacation schedule for students is as follows:

- Autumn break: 6 calendar days starting November 4
- Winter break: 14 calendar days starting December 28
- Spring break: 7 calendar days starting March 21
- Summer break: From the date of the last phase control test (or the end of the academic year for classes without phase control) until September 1

Additionally, a one-week break is scheduled for first-grade students in February.

If the last day of vacation falls on a public holiday (non-working day), classes will resume on the next working day. Lessons missed on holiday days will be covered in subsequent classes with a condensed curriculum.
