Former Uzbek UFC fighter Mahmud Murodov will have his next fight on September 21. This was reported by the press service of the Octagon MMA promotion company, which organizes the fights.

On that day, Murodov will face former British UFC fighter Scott Askham as part of the Octagon 61 tournament held in Brno, Czech Republic.

The 36-year-old Askham holds a 20-6 record in MMA, with 12 of his wins by knockout. His last fight in the UFC was in 2017, where he faced a defeat.

The 34-year-old Murodov last fought in February this year at UFC Fight Night 235 against Russian fighter Aliasxab Khizriev. The fight was stopped and recorded as unfinished due to Khizriev poking Murodov in the eye.

It is worth noting that Mahmud Murodov was expelled from the UFC this May due to repeated cancellations of his fights.
