Kumush Khujaeva wins the silver medal at the Paralympics

Uzbekistan's Kumush Khujaeva competed in the finals of the para-judo competition at the 2024 Paris Summer Paralympics in France.

In the final, Khujaeva faced off against Hirose Junko from Japan. Kumush Khujaeva, representing Uzbekistan, was defeated in the women's J2 class -57 kg weight category, earning the silver medal at the Paralympics.

As a result, the delegation's medal count has reached 9 gold, 7 silver, and 5 bronze medals. The delegation currently holds 12th place overall with a total of 21 medals.

To recall, Tolibboy Yoldoshev from Uzbekistan won the gold medal in the discus throw event in the men's F37 class at the Paralympic Games.
