Abdukodir Khusanov, a member of Uzbekistan’s national football team, has been awarded the title of Best Young Player for October in the French Championship, according to the league’s press service.

Last week, the French League 1 division published the shortlist of nominees for the monthly award, with Khusanov ranked among the top three candidates.

The winner was decided by a public vote on the French Championship’s official X page, where Khusanov emerged with the most votes, surpassing "Marseille" forward Jonathan Rowe, 21, and "Lyon" forward Malik Fofana, 19.

Husanov has made 12 appearances for his club this season. In his recent match against PSG, which ended in a 0-1 loss, he was sent off for a rough tackle on Achraf Hakimi and received a two-game suspension.

Previously, it was reported that Husanov was also recognized as the Player of the Month for his club, "Lens," in October.
