Ambassador of Uzbekistan presents credentials to Macron

2480On September 17, the new Ambassador of Uzbekistan, Nadir Ganiev, presented his credentials to French President Emmanuel Macron. This was reported by the "Dunyo" news agency.
During the conversation held at the official ceremony, President Macron highly praised the current state and future prospects of bilateral relations between Tashkent and Paris.
The French President fondly recalled his official visit to Samarkand in November 2023 and expressed his support for continuing the high-level political dialogue and further strengthening the friendly relations with Uzbekistan.
In addition to the Ambassador of Uzbekistan, the ambassadors of 20 other foreign countries also presented their credentials to the French President.
President Macron congratulated the ambassadors on their new roles and wished them success in their diplomatic efforts to enhance bilateral cooperation.
For reference, Nadir Ganiev arrived in Paris on July 13 as the new Ambassador of Uzbekistan. He previously served as the first Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Sweden.
Nadir Ganiev, 53, is a graduate of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies and has been working in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 1994. He has held various positions in both the central apparatus and diplomatic missions abroad.
Before his appointment as Ambassador to Sweden, he headed the Department of Cooperation with European Countries and EU Institutions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It is also worth noting that Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Ibragimov, presented his credentials to the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, on September 12.
