7262News has spread on social media that the Anti-Corruption Agency is purchasing a BYD Song Plus DM-i Champion vehicle for 380.9 million soums. Sherzod Saparov, the agency's press secretary, has confirmed this information.
It was explained that to reduce fuel and lubricant costs and use budget funds efficiently, the agency will auction off two vehicles with low economic efficiency currently on its balance sheet – a 2017 Captiva and a 2018 black Malibu-2.
Their prices are 276 million 249 thousand soums (Malibu-2) and 253 million 548 thousand 617 soums (Captiva). The agency plans to use the funds from these vehicles to purchase a fuel-efficient BYD Song Plus DM-i Champion.
"According to the law, 50% of the funds from the sale of these vehicles will go to the state budget and 50% to the agency’s non-budgetary fund. The new service car being purchased complies with the requirements of current regulatory legal documents," Saparov stated.
