Plane bound for Khorezm forced to land in Azerbaijan

On October 17, a flight from Istanbul to Urgench was forced to make an emergency landing at Baku International Airport in Azerbaijan due to a passenger’s sudden health deterioration, Uzbekistan Airways reported.
“On October 17, flight HY280 on the Istanbul–Urgench route was forced to land at Baku International Airport after one of the passengers experienced health problems,” the company said in a statement.
Uzbekistan Airways did not disclose details about the passenger’s condition or current health status.
Earlier, it was reported that aircraft UK67003, operating flight HY272 from Istanbul, returned to its departure airport about an hour after takeoff when the cabin pressure warning system was triggered at an altitude of 35,000 feet. The crew decided to return to Istanbul to ensure flight safety.
