University dean in Khorezm was arrested for accepting a bribe

The dean, who had promised to facilitate the passing of the creative (professional) exam at Urganch State University, was apprehended. This information comes from the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the General Prosecutor's Office.
The dean, identified as S.K., was caught red-handed with evidence showing he accepted $2,600 and 2.5 million soums to assist Z.O. in passing the creative (professional) exam at the university, leveraging his connections in high places.
As a result, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 168 (fraud) and Article 28, 211 (bribery) of the Criminal Code. The investigation is ongoing.
Previously, it was reported that a university legal consultant was caught accepting a bribe in Karshi.
