A video showing a teacher cursing at children in a kindergarten in the Koshkopir district of the Khorezm region has surfaced on social media, prompting a response from the Regional Department of Preschool and School Education.
According to the department, the incident occurred on September 18 at State Preschool Education Organization No. 39. During the investigation, it was discovered that M.B., a teacher in the second group, accidentally sent the video of the event to a Telegram group meant for the parents of the children in her class while using her mobile device during a lesson.
"The department issued a warning to the staff, stating that legal action would be taken if similar incidents occurred in the future," the report states.
M.B. has since expressed regret for her actions, apologized to the parents, and voluntarily resigned from her position.
This incident follows a similar case in Surkhondarya region, where a teacher at Preschool Organization No. 16 in Denov district was found to have treated a 5-year-old child harshly. The employment contract with that educator was also terminated following the incident.
