A teacher who physically assaulted a disabled child at a kindergarten in Almalyk, Tashkent region, has been issued a disciplinary reprimand ("haifsan"). The incident was reported by the Children's Ombudsman.

On December 17, a woman identified as S.S. filed a complaint stating that her child, born in 2020, was beaten by a teacher at a preschool educational institution. Following the complaint, video footage from November 22 revealed that D.Q., a teacher at preschool institution No. 19 in Almalyk, inflicted bodily harm on a 4-year-old boy named S.A., resulting in injuries.

The Almalyk City Department of Internal Affairs is currently conducting pre-investigation procedures, and a forensic medical examination has been ordered for the minor. In response to the violation of professional duties, educator D.Q. has been issued a "haifsan" disciplinary punishment.

The Children's Ombudsman stated that further updates regarding the legal outcome of the case will be provided following the conclusion of the pre-investigation.

This incident follows a previous case in Tashkent, where a teacher was dismissed for dressing a boy in girls' clothing and applying makeup to his face.
