Attempt to steal donation box was foiled in Khorezm

A man attempting to steal money from a donation box at the "Yusuf Hamadoni" shrine in Khorezm was apprehended by a National Guard security officer. This was confirmed by the National Guard's press service.
The incident occurred on the morning of September 25, at 06:15, when a security guard at the shrine in the Beshmergan neighborhood of Shavat district noticed an unknown individual attempting to break into the donation box. The officer promptly intervened and reported the situation to the local duty unit.
Upon investigation by the Shavat district security department, it was discovered that the suspect, a 33-year-old resident of Garland district identified as M.M., had attempted to steal the money.
"The case is currently under investigation by the district intelligence agency," the report states.
This incident follows a similar case in the Navoi region, where a 27-year-old man was arrested for stealing money from several mosque donation boxes over two weeks.
