Market catches fire in Khorezm

A market in the Khorezm region has been destroyed by fire, according to a report from the regional emergency department.
The fire broke out on June 18 at 2:30 AM at the Hazorasp Universal Trade Complex, located in the Bogdor neighborhood of Hazorasp district. The emergency services were promptly alerted.
Firefighters arrived at the scene by 2:35 AM and managed to fully extinguish the blaze by 4:04 AM. Their quick response prevented the fire from spreading to other stores, saving 4,200 square meters of the complex. However, a mixed goods store covering 300 square meters was damaged.
The cause of the fire and the extent of the material damage are still under investigation. Fortunately, there were no injuries or fatalities.
This incident follows an earlier report of a grain field fire in Andijan.
