Uzbekistan’s renowned artist Dilfuza Ismoilova fell victim to a fraud scheme, losing $80,000 after trusting a woman she met at a social gathering. This was reported by the “Hudud” informational program.

It was stated that the fraud case is currently being reviewed by the Uchtepa District Criminal Court. In addition to the singer, several other citizens were also victimized by the defendant.

According to Dilfuza Ismoilova’s lawyer, Zebo Komilova, the woman joined the social gathering attended by the singer and gained her trust. During the gathering, Ismoilova shared her plans to engage in entrepreneurship. The defendant claimed to be involved in the trade of citrus fruits, earning $25,000–$30,000 per shipment of imported citrus fruits, and convinced the singer to invest in the “business.” Subsequently, Dilfuza Ismoilova invested money and fell into the trap.

It was revealed that the defendant had previously been convicted multiple times under Article 168 of the Criminal Code for fraud. The court proceedings related to this case will continue on April 3.

Earlier, in Tashkent’s Mirzo Ulugbek District, comedian Shukurullo Isroilov’s car was stolen. The Tashkent City Police Department took measures to locate and return the vehicle to its owner. The stolen car was found on Zargarlik Street in the Uchtepa District. The suspect, born in 1998, took advantage of the car being left unlocked and drove it away. Both the suspect and the vehicle were handed over to criminal investigation officers.
