Shops in Khatirchi burned down at night

A fire broke out in shops in the Khatirchi district of the Navoi region.  The fire happened at night.  This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The fact is that yesterday, 8 November at 11:12 p.m., the "Navbahor" neighborhood of Khatirchi district, Navoi region, reported to the district department of emergencies that there was a fire in the shops located on Ahmed Yassavi Street.

Consequently, 2 fire-rescue crews arrived at the scene at 11:14 p.m. and the fire was extinguished at 11:38 p.m.

According to the preliminary information, as a result of the fire, the equipment, products, ceiling, and roof of clothing, household appliances, porcelain, and other shops in an area of 120 square meters suffered fire damage.  As a result of the quick actions of the rescuers, 1500 square meters of buildings were saved from the fire.

No one was injured or killed during the incident.

The cause of the fire and the amount of material damage are currently being determined.
