Diyora Keldiyorova from Uzbekistan, who reached the finals of the judo competition "Grand Slam" hosted by Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, faced the Olympic champion Distriya Krasnichi from Kosovo in the decisive match.
Participating in the -52 kg weight category of the tournament, Keldiyorova defeated her opponent by ippon in the 40th second of the final and won the gold medal.
This victory provided the Uzbek athlete with a gold medal and a valuable 1000 rating points.
Several other representatives of Uzbekistan are participating in the Tbilisi tournament. In the programs of 25-26 March, many Uzbek athletes will compete for medals.
