On the night of September 28, a strong explosion occurred in a warehouse belonging to "Inter Logistics" LLC in the "Quruvchilar" branch of the Sergeli district of Tashkent city. Firefighting operations are still ongoing.
A National Guard unit is on the scene. Also, a 17-year-old boy died as a result of the explosion.
Tashkent Mayor Shavkat Umrzakov and Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov arrived at the scene. Shavkat Umrzakov said that money will be paid to the owners of the damaged houses.
As a result of the explosion, the "Quruvchilar" metro station was damaged. The explosion did not affect the operation of the capital's airport.
