Free Metro rides in Tashkent from 3 am to 10 am on June 6

On Thursday, June 6, the Tashkent Metro will provide free service to all passengers from 03:00 to 10:00 in celebration of Eid al-Adha. This was announced by the Tashkent Metro State Enterprise.

According to the statement, in order to ensure convenience for passengers, the metro system will begin operating two hours earlier than usual, starting from 03:00 in the morning.

As part of the holiday arrangements, all rides between 03:00 and 10:00 on June 6 will be free of charge.

Additionally, train service schedules for other holiday-related days off have been adjusted as follows:

– On Friday, June 7, trains will run according to the Saturday schedule;
– On Saturday, June 8, service will begin at 05:00, following the Sunday timetable.

Earlier, the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan announced the official times for Eid prayers in mosques across the country. It was also reported that prayers are expected to be held in 122 mosques in Tashkent alone on June 6.
