Eid al-Adha will be celebrated in Uzbekistan on June 28th this year. This was reported by the Press Service of the Office of Muslims of Uzbekistan.

Based on information received from scientific research, astronomy centers, and fatwa boards of the organization’s working group on observing the moon, it has been determined that the new moon phase (crescent) of Zul Hijja 1444 AH will occur after sunset on June 18, 2023 AD.

It is known that the 10th day of Dhul-Hijjah marks the first day of Eid al-Adha. The Council of Scholars of the Office of Muslims of Uzbekistan has decided that the first day of Eid al-Adha in Uzbekistan will be on June 28, 2023, based on the teachings of Islam and this information.
