Traffickers of psychotropic substances were arrested in Kokand

1827Individuals involved in the distribution of potent psychotropic drugs were apprehended in Kokand, according to the General Prosecutor's Office.
During a swift operation by officers from the Kokand Department of the General Prosecutor's Office and the State Security Service (SSS), a Bestune T99 vehicle was stopped on Furqat Street under suspicion of illegal drug trafficking. Upon inspection, the officers discovered a cache of powerful drugs: 1,359 tablets of "Tropicamide," 3,360 tablets of "Regapen," 10 tablets of "Celofen," and a container filled with a colorless liquid. These drugs are known to have strong effects on the human psyche.
A criminal case has been filed under Article 251-1 of the Criminal Code, which addresses the illegal circulation of powerful or toxic substances. The investigation is ongoing.
Previously, individuals were also apprehended in Samarkand region for selling narcotics. In Jomboy and Urgut districts, two individuals were detained after attempting to sell 700 grams of hashish for $10,000 to an undercover buyer.
