A parliamentary request is being sent to Kochkarov

Yesterday, 13 December, the deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis told the Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction Jamshid Kochkarov, “The current situation of the development of special economic and small industrial zones and the measures taken to eliminate existing problems in them.  He agreed to send a parliamentary request to the Legislative Chamber regarding the issue in “Grysi.”  This was reported on the website of the lower house of the Parliament.

It is noted that 1,500 billion soms for the provision of external engineering and communication networks to large production projects involving special economic, small industrial zones, youth industrial and entrepreneurship zones, and direct foreign and local investments.  Some funds have been allocated.  Although the targeted program of these funds in terms of objects has been approved, as of the end of the 9th month of this year, 540.5 billion of the allocated funds have been used.  

Kochkarov wants to give comprehensive benefits to entrepreneurs.  Can those who don’t have a “Tank” also use it?

Also, “Regional Electric Networks” Joint Stock Company, “Hududgaztaminot” Joint Stock Company, “Uzsuvtaminot” Joint Stock Company and the Committee of Roads under the Ministry of Transport developed project-estimate documents of objects in special economic zones.  Due to the lack of exit and tender sales, the allocated funds were not fully utilized.

At the same time, despite the allocation of 320 billion soms from the State budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the development of the engineering, communication and production infrastructure of special economic and small industrial zones, these funds were not used on time.

Based on this, at the meeting, the Minister of Economic Development and Poverty Alleviation Jamshid Kochkarov was asked by the Legislative Chamber of the Parliament regarding the issue of “The current state of the development of special economic and small industrial zones and the measures taken to eliminate existing problems in them”.  It was decided to send the request.
