Forty Uzbek citizens who violated migration regulations have been deported from Almaty, Kazakhstan, the Almaty Police Department reported.
According to authorities, the individuals were transported by special рейс buses to the Kazakhstan–Uzbekistan state border in full compliance with security requirements.
“We continuously monitor foreign nationals’ compliance with migration legislation and legal residency rules in the city. Citizens who violate the regulations are deported in accordance with the law. Our task is to ensure public order, protect the safety of city residents, and guarantee that all individuals staying in Kazakhstan comply with the law,” said Yerkin Omontoyev, head of the Almaty Migration Service Department.
The statement added that each individual’s documents were processed accordingly, and they were escorted to the border under secure transport supervision.
For reference, since the beginning of 2026, 20,662 individuals have been identified in Kazakhstan for violating migration legislation and subjected to administrative measures. In addition, 235 foreign nationals have been deported from the country, while 982 foreigners have been held accountable for violating residency regulations.
Furthermore, 269 responsible officials were held liable for failing to ensure the legal stay of foreign nationals, and 201 employers were penalized for violating labor recruitment rules.
Earlier, more than 2,600 foreign citizens were deported from Kazakhstan for violating immigration laws.
