Carbon monoxide poisoning claims lives of seven Uzbek family members in Kazakhstan

9228On March 2, a tragic incident occurred in the Baskuduk village of Munayli district, Mangistau region, Kazakhstan, where seven members of an Uzbek family died from carbon monoxide poisoning. The press service of the regional administration reported the incident.
According to the report, rescue teams and emergency medical services arrived at the scene and found the bodies of seven individuals, five of whom were minors.
The preliminary version from the regional Department of Emergency Situations suggests that the tragedy occurred due to violations of gas equipment usage rules. It was reported that all the deceased were Uzbek citizens who had temporary residence in Kazakhstan.
A commission has been established to investigate the causes of the emergency, chaired by Erbol Izbergenov, the first deputy governor of Mangistau region. The report stated that comprehensive assistance, including support for the burial of the deceased, would be provided to the relatives of the victims, and the situation is under the personal supervision of the regional governor.
Earlier, it was reported that a family in the Bostanlik district of Tashkent region died from carbon monoxide poisoning.
