Several Uzbek nationals were caught attempting to enter Russia hidden among boxes in a melon-loaded truck. This was reported by "Mash."
It was noted that border guards stopped the truck at a checkpoint in the village of Ozinki in the Saratov region. According to the documents, the truck was supposed to contain only melons. However, upon inspection, four Uzbek nationals were found hiding under the boxes.
It was emphasized that a criminal case has been initiated against the driver and the violators for illegally crossing the Russian state border. They could face up to 5 years in prison.
