Foreign fund worth $150-200 million to be directed to Karakalpakstan 

The main target indicators for the sustainable socio-economic development of the Republic of Karakalpakstan for the years 2025-2026 have been set. It was mentioned by the presidential decree adopted on August 14 “on accelerating measures aimed at socio-economic development of Karakalpakstan Republic”. 

The following targets have been outlined to speed up the stable socio-economic development of the autonomous republic: 

-increasing the gross regional product (GRP) by an average of 6–6.5 percent; 

-increasing industrial production by 5–6 percent; 

-increasing the volume of market services by 15–17 percent. 

 
According to the decree, the strategy for the development of the Republic of Karakalpakstan by 2035 will be implemented based on a detailed five-year program. 

Under the program-for-results (PforR) financing system for program funding, foreign funds amounting to $150–200 million will be allocated.
